is gel wax as good as the others? If it is, which stores can i get some with reputable quality? some tips and methods on how to use it too would be so much appreciated!

You can find gel wax on amazon. and one tip from me, you should use direct heat because it would take forever if you use a double boiler

Gel wax is definitely as good and maybe even better because it's clear and more lustrous? Like it's also very easy to use + definitely for the aesthetic because you can add like embedded stuff too. Super unique + longer burn time. I make one called 7 days because it literally lasts a week.

I was in the same boat as you and I found that high density wax is the best for better fragrance so stay away from the cheap stuff
