How long have you been making candles?

I made candles more consistently in 2020 when COVID-19 happened. I got the idea from an older cousin who used to make candles before. Then I watched a few video tutorials and did a little experiment here and there. I wish I could say I've been doing it for 5 years now but there a couple of episodes when my hands just felt too full or I was trying other hobbies. I actually decided to join this forum so I can feel more connected to the practice and to fellow candlemakers! It's been fun so far!

Just curious about how long everyone has been making candles. How did you learn? Who is your favorite supplier? I have way to many favorite suppliers. Hive and Honey is one of them. :)
I'm new to this hobby! I started early this year and then I joined this forum to get some advice! I don't have one favorite in particular but it always excites me to discover local artisanal shops where I can find something really unique and special 🥰

A few years ago, I tried my hand at candle making after a friend gifted me a starter kit for my birthday. What began as just a fun weekend project unexpectedly turned into a really relaxing hobby. I don't make candles as often these days, but I still love checking out local markets for unique scents and supplies. Hive and Honey is definitely a great choice, I've picked up a few things from there myself. It's awesome to see how each person's journey into this hobby is so different

same here! I'm still a bit unsure about the quality, but I hope to get better with the help of everyone here :)
