How long have you been making candles?

I made candles more consistently in 2020 when COVID-19 happened. I got the idea from an older cousin who used to make candles before. Then I watched a few video tutorials and did a little experiment here and there. I wish I could say I've been doing it for 5 years now but there a couple of episodes when my hands just felt too full or I was trying other hobbies. I actually decided to join this forum so I can feel more connected to the practice and to fellow candlemakers! It's been fun so far!

I'm new to this hobby! I started early this year and then I joined this forum to get some advice! I don't have one favorite in particular but it always excites me to discover local artisanal shops where I can find something really unique and specialJust curious about how long everyone has been making candles. How did you learn? Who is your favorite supplier? I have way to many favorite suppliers. Hive and Honey is one of them.

A few years ago, I tried my hand at candle making after a friend gifted me a starter kit for my birthday. What began as just a fun weekend project unexpectedly turned into a really relaxing hobby. I don't make candles as often these days, but I still love checking out local markets for unique scents and supplies. Hive and Honey is definitely a great choice, I've picked up a few things from there myself. It's awesome to see how each person's journey into this hobby is so different
