My glass cutter works fine on thin bottles but struggles with thick ones like 1L Pellegrino bottles. I want clean, consistent cuts for upcycling into candles and am willing to invest in better tools. Would a tile saw work, or is there a better option? What do you use for cutting thick glass?

i had trouble with thick bottles like 1L pellegrinos too. a tile saw can work it cuts through thick glass with water to keep it cool but it's messy and the blade might not go all the way in one pass. i also use a diamond blade wet saw for consistent. clean cuts on thick glass. its great for upcycling into candles and worth the investment if you're serious about it. :)

I always use wet saw since it's specifically designed for cutting glass :)

Dremel with diamond wheel! That's gonna make you feel satisfied. Done.
