New to candle molds looking for tips & supplier suggestions

I've recently taken up candle making to relax after work, and I'm really enjoying it! So far, I've mostly made simple container candles, but I'm eager to experiment with molds to create some unique shapes.

Before I start buying a bunch of molds online, I'd really appreciate any advice on what to consider for a good mold, such as material, flexibility, and ease of use. I'm also open to any recommendations for online shops or suppliers that you've found reliable.

Silicone is generally the way to go for beginners, especially if you want unique shapes. They're incredibly flexible, which makes demolding a breeze and helps preserve intricate details without needing a release agent. They're also quite durable and can last a long time with proper care.
