Hello all. I am new to this forum but have been making candles for a few years. I live in Texas where it's nice and hot. It's difficult to sell candles in markets about 6 months out of the year. I only make candles as a side gig with other items I create. Looking forward to all of your ideas and creativity here.

Welcome @Firefly24. I can see that the summer heat could make the wax less solid. Could you sell them with a cooler blowing on the display and keeping the stock in one of those auto refrigerators for campers?
I don't know, I don't want to add more trouble for myself.

Hi everyone. I’m ramping up my candle game. I’ve sold a few but planning to make more. Im using coco-apricot crème wax and wood wicks, which I’m finding to be challenging. But I’m determined. Oh, and I’m leaning toward making/using cement jars. And avise or tips are welcome.

Hello I'm kinda new to making of candles and I had bought a candle at a store and wanted to know what kind of candles evaporate when you burn them. and the candle is not a Gel. the candle smells wonderful and the texture is oily and you can shape it . could it be paraffin wax? idk just wanted to know
Hmm, a candle from a store. Is there a label that states the type of wax such as soy or paraffin? There is a lot to learn about candles. The wax, the wicks, fragrance, etc. The first burn of a candle trains it to burn correctly. Do you plan on making candles?
