Need help with wax melting pot

Does anyone here melt wax directly on a hot plate and have recommendations for a good pot? Many people use a double boiler method, but my cousin would prefer to stick with the hot plate she already bought. She recently got into candle making and is looking for the best wax melting pot to use.

@candiesticks i melt wax directly on a hot plate too. i recommend a small stainless steel pot with a handle. it heats evenly and is easy to pour. look for one with a flat bottom that fits your hot plate well. works great for me!

A steel pot with a pouring pot is a good idea! It's ideal to get the heavy-bottomed and stainless too as direct hot plate melting requires precise temp control.

A friend invested in a dedicated wax melting pitcher. Maybe worth looking into for you @candiesticks!

Hot plate for melting wax? Sketchy but doable with the right pot. Stainless steel with a flat bottom and maybe a spout is your best bet.
