How much stearic acid

I want to ask, how much stearic acid are you all using in your pillar blends? my sister has been working with it and I decided to try with it for mold release and a harder finish, but I'm still confused about the percentage, I've tried anywhere between 5% to 10% in a paraffin blend, and it definitely helps with the opacity and rigidity, but I wanna know if I can go higher or does it mix differently with other additives? and also, does it affect the burn time or am I tripping?, because it seems like the burn time has gotten slower

5-10% should be fine, it helps with mold release and makes the candle harder like you've seen. You can go a bit higher for sure, but yeah it might mess with other additives and, youre right, it can slow down the burn time a bit so yeah if you want that. Totally normal though, you're not imagining it. Just alter based on what you're after.
