My best wax for candles

I've been using Golden Brands 454 Coconut/ Soy Wax since I started making candles. I wonder if there is better, more affordable wax out there. What's your best wax for candles guys?

golden brands 454 coconut soy wax is definitely a popular choice especially for those starting out since it's easy to work with and gives a good scent throw and smooth surface but if you're looking for more affordable options you could try pure soy wax like gw 464 which is cheaper and works well for beginners and small batch candles based on my experience working with both i've noticed that gw 464 sometimes cures faster so it's worth trying out if you're looking for efficiency without spending much hope this helps.

I've tried a few different waxes, and honestly, golden brands 454 is solid, but if you're looking for something more affordable, you might want to check out EcoSoya or IGI 6006

464 instead is also good and has great fragrance throw! Plus it's cheaper like a tad but still. Or IGI 6006 but its paraffin and soy blend. A little more on the paraffin end tho.

Been using NatureWax C5503 for quite some time now, its a great choice for a soy wax.

Hey there! No problem! What did you end up using then? I forgot to say but you could also try IGI 4627 comfort blend but I think, it still depends on where you're using it. It's a business or?

@LastNightOnEarth if you're looking for more affordable, paraffin is cheapest but less natural, but pure soy can be more affordable than coconut blends

I have tried a lot of different Soy waxes over the years as I have been making candles for over 10 years. I always come back to what I know works which is Cargills C-3 Soy Wax. It leaves a nice soft smooth surface. I do a 2nd pour with this wax but I have not found a wax that you don't need to do that.
