Will Vybar 103 help?

I am thinking of trying Vybar 103 to smooth out and help with scent hold on this paraffin wax that I found. It's gorgeous and burns like a dream and holds my glass beads in place. But! But.. it pours rough and starts sweating fragrance, I already added 8%! It has around 58C melt point and no additives.

Anyone tried something similar or if you have any other alternatives to Vybar 103? Thanks!

Vybar 103 is an excellent choice for this wax. It's specifically formulated for paraffin to improve appearance and scent throw by allowing the wax to hold more fragrance

I've worked with something close, unmodified paraffin with a similar melt point and yeah, it can be tricky. Vybar 103 definitely helps, but it's easy to overdo it and end up muting the fragrance instead, @Plutt-1 I've had good results keeping it under 1%, just enough to stabilize without wrecking the throw, if you're looking for alternatives, try a touch of stearic acid. It can help with hardness and scent retention without the same drawbacks

Great insights! I faced something similar a while ago when I found an old batch of paraffin at a market. It burned beautifully, but it really sweated a lot with the fragrance oils. I gave Vybar 103 a shot and quickly learned not to go overboard with it, it pretty much muted the scent. Eventually, I toned it down to about 0.75% and added a bit of stearic acid, and that did the trick. Definitely a good idea to experiment with small batches first
