I'm new to candle making and, like many, struggling with hot throw. Ive been using C3 (6% max fragrance load) but getting 0 scent, no matter the wick or vessel. I'm thinking of blending with parasoy or paraffin and have some SB1000 , but cant find any info on its fragrance load, even the seller doesn't know. Has anyone used it and had good results with HT? Open to any wax suggestions, just trying to find something that works! Thanks!

hi @2ez4kanye honestly, this is the most common problem for beginners!
The SB1000 you have is typically a parasoy blend, which should have a higher fragrance load than C3.
try to start your testing around an 8-10% fragrance load. Parasoy blends are usually much better for hot throw, so you're on the right track with blending

how about trying a different wax entirely just to rule things out. Golden Wax 464 is a super popular soy wax that's known for being much easier to work with and having a stronger hot throw than C3. If you want something even more reliable, look for a custom paraffin soy blend from a supplier. They're designed for great performance right out of the box
