Hello I'm new to this and can't get my scented candles to give off a smell when they are lit how much fragrance oils is needed for 8 oz candle to throw a smell when burning?? I'm also having a problem with the wick burning right it's tunneling

For an 8 oz candle, shoot for about 0.5 to 0.8 oz of fragrance oil. If your candle's tunneling, go bigger on the wick or try a different kind. Make sure it fits your wax and jar

one tip from me, for a better scent, you need to check the temperature. The temperature when you add the fragrance oil to your wax is super important.
If the wax is too hot, the fragrance can "burn off" before it even sets. A good rule of thumb is to let the wax cool down to about 185°F before you stir in your fragrance oil
