    how to make fragrance oil the easy way?

    been diving into making fragrance oils lately, and it's a wild ride. i'm testing pine-scented oil because it's everywhere around me. my plan? grab olive oil (easy to find), toss a bunch of pine needles into a crockpot with a liner, set it to low for about 6 hours. once it's done, i'm gonna use...

    how to melt candle wax without a hot plate?

    so my candle making kit just showed up finally but i dont have a hot plate read somewhere that using a stovetop aint the safest way to melt wax so im wondering if i can use a microwave or somethin else instead? the kit has a melting pot but idk if thats enough.. anyone got ideas?
